Multi Million Pound Office Development – Twickenham

CLIENT: Geneviève Thériault – Architecture & Interiors

A new build office development in an enviable town centre location. High specification, energy efficient property in idyllic mews setting.

At the time of Loxal’s initial survey the property was a part finished shell with no windows or doors, however much of the first fix installation had been carried out. Due to unforeseen lead time extensions the installation of Windows, Window Sills and Doors had been delayed. This left the property vulnerable to vandalism and theft.

Loxal installed the latest IDACS security doors to all entrance points and almost 40 made to size “No Damage” window security panels. To compliment this we installed our IDACS integrated video verification alarm system with 24/7 monitoring and response. The IDACS system allowed the developers to issue unique PIN number access codes to all employees and subcontractors which greatly improved productivity. Emergency 24 hour codes were issued to surveyors and clients improving security and simplifying the access process. Integration with Alarm system meant users controlled the operation of the alarm with there IDACS codes so secondary alarm codes did not need to be issued.

The property is now completed within the time frame expected. The formidable barrier created by our security installation proved a huge success.
Our IDACS doors gave not only security but invaluable access control and the natural light from our security screens enabled the internal work to continue without hindrance and our flexible rental terms allowed for the removal of our products in stages to suit the developers and clients needs.

“Loxal was the perfect security solution for Messom Mews. Building works advanced quicker as the interior was naturally lit from the perforated screen and time was not wasted removing/fitting ply sheeting on the windows twice a day. Thank you for your excellent and prompt service. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you, and will keep you in mind for future projects.”
